The vision that brought CybHotel to life
CybHotel was born from a real-world challenge:
managing a hotel in a remote area without a 24-hour reception and without the risk of a guest being locked out.
The context was the San Bernardino Pass, in Switzerland.
In winter, extreme temperatures and unpredictable conditions called for a 100% solution that was 100 per cent reliable.
A single piece of software wasn't enough.
An integrated system was needed, which would be stable even in the event of network outages or power cuts.
From this need came the idea of creating a single platform where hardware and software work together without depending on external solutions.
From idea to first prototype
In 2013 Ant@ptima, a company specialising in software development for business process optimisation, created the first prototype of CybHotel.
It all started with a simple question:
- Can I automate the entire hotel management process?
- Can I manage it remotely?
- Can I do this via smartphone?
Today the answer is: Yes.

CybHotel was not born from a theoretical analysis of the sector.
It was created by hoteliers, for hoteliers.
